This site is for the Descendants of Christofel Hüls who was born in Marth, Ostertal, Pfalz, Germany. He married Eva Catherina Engel. They had 10 children: Theobald "David", Simon Jacob, Hans Leonardt, Eva Catherine, Maria Margaretha, Christofel, Johann George, Maria Engel, Adam and Maria Catharina. Christofel Huls passed away in Schoharie Valley, Schoharie, New York, United States. This is a closed group and you will have to ask to join the group. In 1770 he married Elizabeth Kring in Clarkstown ,Rockland Co.NY. They then moved to Fulton Co. where they had 8 children. Johannes served in the Revolutionary War under Col Jacob Klock and Lt Col Peter Wagoner. He was in the battle near Johnstown, N.Y. and battle of Oriskany, NY where he was taken prisoner. After the war he returned to his family where he farmed and did tailoring work. |

This McAbee clan has been in the America’s since before 1700’s and originated in Quebec, Canada and later settled in the Green Bay/De Pere, Wisconsin Area.
